Welding a handmade white gold wishbone ring.i decided to weld it rather than solder which gives it a seamless join. Welding works good with high temperature metals like platinum, palladium and in this case 18ct high % palladium white gold. ...when buying white gold products this is the only choice in my opinion. I have yet to see a 9ct or 14ct white gold alloy I like as they are usually a washed out yellow and tend to have little or no palladium in the mix. #welding#whitegold#bespokejewellery#goldsmith#goldalloys #metallurgy #fusing
